Our specially engineered tools can detect down to 0.05mm variances in straightness of your blade. Skate straight and true.
We deal with over 1,000 pairs of skates per year. We've seen it all. We can fix most.

For maximum convenience, drop your skates after your session at Cambridge Ice Arena, then collect them before your next session. The skates never leave site, so you can collect them any time*.
For any of the following services, find a member of staff (skate hire if it's open, or reception) and ask to drop your skates for Rich@theRink.
Services are only completed once the check in process is complete and payment is received.

* All skates are kept and worked on at Cambridge Ice Arena. You will receive a message to confirm when your skates have been completed. You may take your skates back before the work has started free of charge, and drop them back without losing your place in the queue.
When you hand over your skates, you will be given a receipt. Keep this safe. You'll need it to check in the skates and collect your skates at the end.
Either scan the QR code on the receipt, or go to https://skatedrop.therink.uk/ and enter the three-letter code printed on the receipt.
Provide your details and what services you require. Don't worry if you cannot remember exactly what make/model your boots are - just a rough description (e.g. white figure skates) is fine - but providing as much information as you remember helps us ensure we have the right skates!
Once this is complete you may be provided with a link to pay immediately. If you are not, it's because we'd like to check the skates over first to ensure you don't pay too much for the services provided. You'll receive a text message when we've carried out the inspection, which you will need to follow to make payment.
Once payment is received we'll set to work!
If you have any issues with the skate check in process, please contact us to let us know - we cannot work on any skates that have not been checked in, as we won't know what you want us to do!
